Manages the Foundation’s scholarship programs, including developing the scholarship application, managing the application process, maintaining scholarship records, timely funding scholarships, providing direct support to all scholarship recipients, developing and managing wrap-around support for scholars, and developing financial literacy programming for scholars. Overseeing research on best practices designed to enhance scholarship programs is an additional requirement.• Establish timeline and criteria for scholarship awards. Develop and publish applications. Manage review process including review by Scholarship Committee, scheduling interviews, developing review rubric.• Develop and implement programs for scholarship recipients. Facilitates the development of a Forman Scholars community.• Assure Board adoption of Scholarship criteria, provide regular updates on the scholars and the scholarship program to the Board.• Facilitate relationships, activities and communications with Foundation Ambassadors.• Assures that all data is entered properly. Prepares reports for the board. Oversees more extensive research on best and effective practices related to scholarship programming and shares that research with the board and staff.• Manages relationships with vendors and service providers related to scholarships, particularly the scholarship management software provider.• Ensures the proper and timely disbursement and accounting of scholarship funds.• Establishes strong relationships with admission officers, financial aid administrators and others on campus who can assist the scholars; establishes a mentoring relationship with all scholars; works collaboratively with all staff, trustees and grantees.• Provide all scholar-related materials for social media.• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
