NSAA's mission is to support members in their pursuit to operate thriving and sustainable businesses and deliver exceptional experiences. The National Ski Areas Association is the trade association for ski area owners and operators. It represents over 300 alpine resorts that account for more than 90 percent of the skier/snowboarder visits nationwide. Additionally, it has nearly 500 supplier members who provide equipment, goods and services to the mountain resort industry. NSAA analyzes and distributes ski industry statistics; produces annual conferences and tradeshows; produces a bimonthly industry publication and is active in state and federal government affairs. The association also provides educational programs and employee training materials on industry issues including OSHA, ADA and NEPA regulations and compliance; environmental laws and regulations; state regulatory requirements; aerial tramway safety; and resort operations and guest service. NSAA was established in 1962 and was headquartered in New York, NY. In 1989 NSAA merged with SIA (SnowSports Industries America) and moved to McLean, Va. The merger was dissolved in 1992 and NSAA was relocated to Lakewood, Colo., because of its central geographic location. NSAA is located in the same office building as the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the National Ski Patrol in Lakewood, Colo., a suburb west of Denver.

PSIA-AASI has a combined membership of more than 32,500 members. PSIA-AASI establishes certification standards for ski and snowboard instructors and develops education materials to be used as the core components of most ski and snowboard school training. PSIA-AASI supports its members through research and development of instructional programs in alpine, telemark, and nordic skiing, snowboarding, and adaptive, children’s, and freestyle skiing and snowboarding.

Protect Our Winters is the environmental center point of the winter sports community. Founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones in 2007, we are united towards a common goal of reducing climate change's effects on our sport and local mountain communities. With over 140,000 supporters worldwide, POW re-invests public and private contributions into educational initiatives, advocacy and supporting community-based initiatives that have tangible results.

For more than 28 years, CCALT has partnered with landowners across Colorado to protect productive agricultural land, while conserving the natural resources that make Colorado such a special place to live and visit. CCALT was established in 1995 by the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) and was the first land trust formed by a state livestock association — Wyoming, California, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, South Dakota, and Oregon have since followed suit.

The Chef Ann Foundation (formerly Food Family Farming Foundation, or F3) was founded in 2009 by Ann Cooper, an internationally recognized author, chef, educator, public speaker, and advocate of healthy food for all children. Chef Ann’s vision was to create an organization that helps schools take action so that every child has daily access to fresh, healthy food. Today, the Chef Ann Foundation (CAF) carries out that vision by actively supporting school districts nationwide through grant programs and by providing tried and tested tools for school food change.
