The Colorado Symphony Association is the region's only full-time professional orchestra committed to artistic excellence and ensuring the future of live, symphonic music. Performing over 150 concerts annually at Boettcher Concert Hall in downtown Denver and across Colorado, your Colorado Symphony is home to eighty full-time musicians, representing more than a dozen nations, and regularly welcomes the most celebrated artists from all genres of music. Originally established in 1989 as the successor to the Denver Symphony, the Colorado Symphony thrives on a spirit of collaboration among musicians, staff, trustees and the community. The Colorado Symphony performs in Boettcher Concert Hall and On Location throughout the state and region with small ensembles to the full-sized orchestra. Programs include education and outreach initiatives, and concert series for all types of listeners, including Classics, Symphony Pops, Holiday, Family, Listen/Hear, Movie at the Symphony, Musicurious Education Programs, and more. Since 1981 the nonprofit Vail Valley Foundation has been committed to providing leadership in athletic, cultural, educational and community-based endeavors to enhance and sustain the quality of life in the Vail Valley for its residents and guests. From annual programs such as the Vail International Dance Festival, Vilar Performing Arts Center, the American Ski Classic, Teva Mountain Games and World Cup Ski Racing to major international events such as the 2001 World Mountain Bike Championships and the 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships, the Vail Valley Foundation is committed to keeping this community vital and exciting. The Vail Valley Foundation currently provides support for a variety of educational programs. The Vail Valley Foundation Scholarship provides college scholarship grants to deserving high school seniors in the Vail Valley. And, in cooperation with the Vail Valley Youth Foundation, the Magic Bus and Success at Six programs target pre-kindergarten literacy and help to strengthen families within the communities where this assistance is most needed. In addition, the Vail Valley Foundation actively supports other nonprofit organizations by annually distributing grants to partners making the Vail Valley a better place to live, work, and visit.

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities offers its patrons the opportunity to develop an improved understanding of themselves and their environment through a direct experience with the arts. The Arvada Center offers theatrical performances, galleries and arts education opportunities for its patrons through a direct connection to the Arts. We produce at least seven theatrical performances a year, several concerts in our outdoor ampitheater and offer hundreds of art education classes for children and adults. We also have three galleries within the premises that exhibit local artists as well as traveling exhibitions, collaborations and permanent installations.
