In 2012, Holy Angels expanded its mission to include a program that serves as a benefit not only to its residents, but also to individuals with disabilities from the Northwest Louisiana community who are seeking opportunities for meaningful work. The award-winning AngelWorks Day Program provides participants with work readiness training, job coaching, and job placement through its five enterprises: Business Services, Culinary Arts, Creative Arts, Horticulture and Holy Rhino Coffee, a partnership with the Shreveport-based company, Rhino Coffee. Holy Angels provides clients with a path to self-fulfillment through education, empowerment, independence and work. Relaxation and sensory stimulation are offered in a state-of-the-art SNOEZELEN room. Holy Angels is a true gem of the State of Louisiana. For more than 50 years the legacy of Bishop Greco and the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows has been sustained through prayer, hard work, love, and visionary leadership.
