Child Crisis Arizona provides emergency shelter, foster care, adoption, counseling, early education, home visitation and parenting support services to Arizona’s most vulnerable children and families. Child Crisis Arizona’s mission is to provide Arizona’s children a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families.

Since our beginnings in 1952, Beacon Group has been committed to providing employment related opportunities to people with disabilities. We provide training, development and access to real work for a segment of our community that traditionally bears a 70% unemployment rate. We help people go from tax-supported to tax-payers. In 2003, Beacon Foundation and Tetra Corporation merged to become the Beacon Group, and we now serve over 2,100 disabled persons a year. We provide a variety of employment related programs, as well as the education and socialization necessary for our clients to lead meaningful, productive lives. Our workshops offer local businesses assembly, packaging, collating and document shredding services. We also employ offsite work crews that perform grounds keeping, clerical, assembly, automobile detailing, food service and custodial maintenance.

CFSS is a behavioral health services provider agency in Arizona that provides supportive services for children, adolescents, young adults and families. We specialize in providing home- and community-based support services, but we also provide independent living services, individualized living environments, and comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services such as counseling, substance abuse services and psychiatry. TCH began in 1967 by parents of children with disabilities as an alternative to the institutions. The families had the foresight to see the value and possibilities of their loved ones living at home and being part of the community. Since the beginning we have provided services that give individuals with disabilities opportunities to gain skills, participate in the community, and live as independently as possible. We work with many types of disabilities that include Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and cognitive delays. Over 58% of our clients have mobility issues and utilize a wheelchair, walker, or other type of equipment to get around safely. Each individual faces different challenges every day. It may be; mobility- using a wheelchair, cane, walker or other support; communication - unable to speak, hear, using sign language, or limited ability to understand; limited range in motion- unable to or limited ability to reach for items, difficulty grasping, restricted hand/eye coordination, or challenges walking on uneven surfaces; and cognitive issues - need simple directions, unable to problem solve, difficulty processing information, or an inability to adapt in certain situations. Some of our clients rely on our staff to provide everything needed to survive each day. Without our support many of our clients would be isolated and unable to participate in life.

The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project is the only organization in Arizona that provides free legal and social services to detained men, women, and children under threat of deportation.

SAGE Counseling was formed in 1998 specifically to provide clinical and educational services to the criminal justice system and court-mandated clients throughout Maricopa County, Arizona. SAGE Counseling is owned and managed by professional counselors and the majority of our clients are under local court supervision or referred by Child Protective Services.
