• Process full cycle bi-weekly payrolls for 6 companies & semi-monthly payrolls for 4 dealerships using ADP Workforce Now system, 500+ employees • Ensure all payroll updates including new hires, terminations, tax withholdings, benefit enrollments & pay rate changes are added and occurring correctly in ADP and on payroll • Run off cycle payrolls as needed to ensure legal compliance for terminations, retro pay, and hours worked discrepancies • Respond to & complete requests for employment verifications, wage audits (e.g. unemployment, workers comp), and wage garnishments • Audit team member’s US and Canada payroll submissions, 500+ employees • Create ad-hoc reports for management & prepare year-end reports for earnings, benefits, and deferred compensation review • Upkeep knowledge of best payroll practices, government regulations, and tax requirements • Register businesses with appropriate state/local tax jurisdictions to ensure employee & employer tax compliance • Perform quarterly and yearly payroll tax reconciliation
