Responsible for transitioning the accounting function from Salem, NH to Chandler, AZ for the US operations ($70M sales) of this multi-national company that sells and services large machinery utilized in the semi-conductor industry, due to the closing of its’ NH location. Reported in this highly visible role to the Senior Vice President Finance, BE Semiconductor Industries N.V., Duiven, The Netherlands. Chandler, AZ location (Onsite September 2014 – May 2015) • Collaborated with key senior executive personnel to ensure smooth transition of accounting function. • Selected and fully implemented new accounting package (QuickBooks Enterprise), the first Cloud based software to be utilized worldwide by BESI, saving both time for software users and annual update costs of $15K. • Performed G/L closings, financial reporting, budget preparation and company HR functions. • Hired and trained the Finance/HR Manager to assume the complete accounting and HR functions. • Interacted with audit/tax firm (KPMG) to complete all audit/tax filings. • Coordinated transfer of all pertinent records from the NH office to appropriate BESI global locations. • Completed ad hoc projects as required. • Provided offsite support as needed through August 2016.
