IHire has released some data and analysis on what job candidates are looking for in the recruitment process that contains some interesting insights.

At the top of the list for applicants is open and honest communication, from confirmation that applications have been received through notification that they are no longer being considered for the position. This desire for transparency extends to including salary ranges in the job posting as well, with 80% of respondents claiming they are more likely to apply to a job that lists salary ranges upfront.

In terms of the hiring process, job candidates want a fair and unbiased process that acknowledges the value of their time, and in terms of the job opportunities themselves, applicants would like to see more remote work flexibility and part-time options, as well.
