In order to better meet the needs of the moment, the article recommends that cyber insurance providers collect better data to fine-tune risk assessment and pricing models; coordinate and disseminate information among IT professionals, cybersecurity consultants, company stakeholders, and insurance providers to make sure the risks and stakes are clearly outlined and understood by all involved parties; create highly-specific product offerings that address the unique exposures and vulnerabilities of each industry; and educate clients about ongoing developments as well as providing resources and support in proactively encouraging good cybersecurity practices.
