A recent piece in Coverager highlights some of the advantages that companies can acquire by finally trading in their existing terrestrial technology platforms for cloud-based ones.

While the authors acknowledge legitimate concerns about the time and resources that can be required to make the change, they argue that the reward for that effort involved to do so far outweighs the ultimate costs of not doing so.

Some of the claimed advantages include beating competitors to market, focusing more on high-value projects and less on process work, serving modern customers better by meeting them on their technological level, and improving your security apparatuses.
