Cybersecurity Threats to Dramatically Increase in 2023

According to research from Coalition Inc., there will be a substantial increase in the amount of publicly disclosed cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the next year.

For reference, over 1,900 “common vulnerability exposures” are expected each month, encompassing 270 with “high-severity” and 155 with “critical-severity,” according to the analysis.

In preparation for this year's attacks, data security and IT teams should prioritize the installation of software updates within 30 days of a patch's release, while adhering to regular maintenance cycles to previous software susceptibilities.
