The Carthage College Master of Science in Business Design and Innovation program consists of six foundational courses, an internship, five business design and innovation courses, and a capstone project. In addition, students participate in eight intensive weekend courses. Business Design and Innovation (BDI) Track prepares graduates to: • Lead and manage high-performing cross-functional teams. • Design innovative solutions. • Develop effective strategies and programs for private, nonprofit, and government sectors. Our goal is to raise up local leaders who will launch and drive movements—eventually without our help. We feel an urgency and call to work with as many Catholic parishes, campus ministries, and ecclesial bodies as possible. Most of them have no idea how to launch movements of evangelization. They don’t know how to raise up more lay people who can make disciples. They are stuck. People who continue to come to Mass have immeasurable potential. They need vision, formation, training, and tools to accomplish their mission in the world. When Catholics leave behind their passive, sporadic Mass-attending mindsets and embrace a purposeful life of discipleship, everything changes. When a parish is not just raising up more disciples, but training disciple-makers, they experience tremendous fruitfulness and growth in every dimension of their mission. The Evangelical Catholic (EC) provides leadership to local Catholic ministries to launch movements that raise up disciple-makers through expert coaches, consultants, and robust online resources. Our model is more scalable than a corps of missionaries, but not so scalable as to lose the personalized coaching that deeply equips leaders. Ministries sign contracts with the EC to engage one of our experienced ministry staff members. Our staff meets with a Point Person at their ministry at agreed-upon intervals to guide them step-by-step through the necessary formation and training to launch a movement. Throughout this process, they rely on the Reach More™ Evangelization Coaching System, an online learning management system, to deliver all the content used throughout this consulting process. The Reach More System is full of practical, transferable tools that leaders hand-on to other Catholics for use in their personal outreach.

Wingra School is a small, independent school providing a progressive education for children ages 5-14 in the Madison area since 1972. The word "Wingra" means "duck" in Ho-Chunk. As ducks, our students are organized into four, multi-age levels: Nest (ages 5-7), Pond (ages 7-9), Lake (ages 9-11), and Sky (ages 11-14). Each level has two classrooms with student to teacher staffing at a 12:1 ratio. We believe children are natural learners and that it is our job as educators to create engaging and healthy programs based on their developmental and individual needs and interests. North Chicago Community Partners (NCCP) was founded in 2008 in direct response to the lack of outside support for the academic challenges facing the children of North Chicago. In Illinois, schools in low-income communities are massively underfunded – but their students need the same supportive services as students in wealthier communities in order to succeed. In North Chicago, that kind of support is available through NCCP. For more than ten years, the organization has leveraged the resources of the broader community to provide a menu of programs and services that complement classroom instruction and enhance student learning. NCCP’s work brings together a range of people to help support its unique “community school” model. In this model, NCCP partners with schools to offer after school enrichment and extended learning opportunities for all students, support teachers, engage parents in the education of their children, and provide opportunities for family learning. NCCP also plays an invaluable role in mobilizing resources to transform public schools in North Chicago.
