INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, INC.
INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, INC.
Renton, Washington
1-24 employees
Founded in 1971 as UCO, the Original Candle Lantern company, Industrial Revolution has grown to become a leading manufacturer and distributor of inventive products that promote fun, safety and comfort in the outdoors. In addition to UCO headlamps, Candle Lanterns™, Stormproof Matches™, portable grills and Ice Cream Balls, Industrial Revolution makes Pedco tripods and clamps. We are also the exclusive U.S. and Canadian distributor of Sweden-based Morakniv® knives and German-based Esbit solid fuel stoves and cookware. In recent years, we have pursued a more aggressive growth strategy, launching many new products and forging new partnerships. Beginning in 2005, we became the US distributor for Light My Fire of Sweden. In 2008, we purchased long-time partner Pedco, maker of UltraPod camera tripods. After distributing Pedco products for a decade, we added fresh energy to the development of new ideas. Our goal is to continue producing great outdoor accessories and somehow think up the next must have tool (and the one after that.) We are outdoor enthusiasts who love hiking, camping, biking, boating – anything that gets us out of the factory for a little while. Our team has a broad range of interests, which helps us with one of the most exciting tasks we have: developing new products. For us, building a better match case or shrinking a lantern is a challenging and satisfying process. We are privately held, and feel our main responsibilities are building quality products for customers, providing reliable service for dealers, and taking care of our employees. We recognize that not every decision is driven by the bottom line. We endeavor to constantly improve our operations in terms of sustainability, efficiency, and precision.

AERO PRECISION, LLC
AERO PRECISION, LLC

Aero Precision’s roots are deeply tied to aerospace, and our drive for clean, perfect engineering and machining stems from that. When you’re building something that will fly in the air, there is no margin for error. We take that same approach in the firearms industry. Not every manufacturer will have razor thin tolerance levels. Not every manufacturer will personally oversee the development, design and machining of every part that comes off the line. We’re not every manufacturer. State of the art in every way. Manufacturing a great part isn’t just about what the end product looks like. It’s about what it feels like, how it works, how it handles and performs. To ensure that each and every one of these elements meets the mil-spec standard, we look at the process from which the product was created at a holistic level. We push the boundaries of manufacturing and challenge the status quo by constantly looking for new ways to use, develop or evolve existing processes. By personally designing and engineering state of the science tooling in-shop, we’re able to leverage the latest machine tool technologies to provide you with components of the highest quality. Our investment, your benefit. Rail guided robotic equipment, new horizontal machining centers with sophisticated monitoring devices and hydraulic tooling ensure consistent loading. These pieces of equipment are standard in our shop and exemplify the dedication we have to investing in our work. We engineer total process control. We have made and continue to make the upfront investment to produce the highest quality components day after day. Are there cheaper ways to build the same product? Sure. Would you as the end user see a difference in the way it works? You better believe it. Better engineering builds better components. It’s just that simple.
