General Operational Support: Provide general bookkeeping support (accounts receivables and payables) using online accounting software (FreshBooks). Perform weekly, monthly and annual account reconciliation. Maintain accounting binders and documentation. Supervise small team of interns and facilities personnel. Post property announcements: receive and process rental applications; schedule property tours; prepare leasing agreements; serve as a main contact for property repairs, coordinate repair visits and property inspections; maintain tenant communication log; and prepare special tenant notices to include rent increases, lease violations, lease terminations and evictions.
