Oversight and management of functional areas to ensure: • Accurate accounting for the revenues and expenses required in the normal operation of the College. • A sound system of internal controls and required compliance with standards. • Effective cash management and expense control. • Sound management of the investments of the College, including long and short term debt obligations and meeting of required covenants. • Timely and accurate financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. • An efficient and effective budget process that supports the strategic plan and needs of the College. • Regular audits and reporting of irregularities to the President. • Effective use of facilities services to maintain and improve the physical plant of the College including custodial services, grounds, construction and renovations, furnishings, and sanitation. • Capital projects are effectively budgeted for and executed according to scheduled plan and available funding. • Adequate corporate insurance (other than for employee benefits) is in effect to cover risk exposure to the College. • Accurate financial aid accounting and reporting as applicable to business services. • Technology infrastructure is effective and efficient for operational areas of the College. • Representation for the College in local, state, and national professional organizations and establishment of key relationships with local/regional/state resources, agencies, and public groups. • Other responsibilities are met as assigned by the President.
