Established in 1926, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is the not-for-profit educational institution that preserves and operates the restored 18th-century capital of Virginia as a town-sized living history museum, telling the inspirational stories of our nation’s founding men and women. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is the largest outdoor living history museum in the world. The mission of the Foundation is “that the future may learn from the past.” In addition to the historic area itself, the Colonial Williamsburg Company Hospitality Group operates a world-class resort to accommodate one million visitors annually. Founded in 1939 as the Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Chrysler Museum of Art combines one of America's great fine arts museums, two significant historic houses and a Glass Studio, the only one of its kind on the East Coast. In addition to maintaining a distinguished permanent collection of over 30,000 objects spanning nearly 5,000 years of history, the Chrysler Museum offers a comprehensive program of changing exhibitions and education activities for visitors of all ages.

The Virginia Air & Space Science Center is the official visitor center for NASA Langley Research Center. Located in Hampton, Virginia, the birthplace of America’s space program, the Virginia Air & Space Center features interactive aviation exhibits spanning 100 years of flight, more than 30 historic aircraft, a hands-on space exploration gallery, unique space flight artifacts, and more!
