Our mission is to be the leading advocate for Delaware’s children. CHILD, Inc. provides creative prevention and treatment programs that meet the changing needs of families. We serve children traumatized by neglect and abuse and their parents. Our team serves those involved in domestic violence situations, especially children. By protecting the victims and treating those responsible for acts of domestic violence we help children heal. We also offer a full array of educational, prevention and clinical services focused on strengthening the parent/child relationship by promoting positive parenting skills through parenting workshops and co-parenting support. The Center for Child Protection, a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center, is the first stop for children in Travis County who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse and for children who have witnessed a violent crime. The Center is a child-friendly, specially-equipped facility where children go for recorded forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling and intervention during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. It is the only nonprofit in Travis County involved in the investigation of crimes against children. All services are provided to children and their protective caregivers at no charge and most are available in English and Spanish. Children are referred to the Center for Child Protection for services exclusively through law enforcement and Child Protective Services when one or more of the following circumstances have occurred: - A child made an outcry of sexual abuse. - A child has experienced physical abuse. - A child has witnessed a violent crime.

Austin Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Austin Habitat focuses on the holistic experience of homeownership as a catalyst for community change. Austin Habitat goes beyond the well-known new homeownership program by also offering critical home repairs to low-income homeowners and housing counseling to the general Austin community. Our programs are designed to develop and preserve strong communities by providing comprehensive services that prepare homebuyers for the responsibilities of homeownership, incentivize long-term ownership, and keep existing homeowners in their homes.

Founded in 1994 as a community amenity for the residents of Circle C Ranch, The Child Development Center has grown to provide nationally recognized preschool programs to residents of the immediate community and families throughout Southwest Austin. Our main campus on La Crosse Avenue serves children as young as 2 months through age 5. With one of the lowest teacher turnover rates in the preschool industry, the CDC’s early childhood programs consistently provide families and children with an unparalleled level of individualized education. Through the years, The Child Development Center has developed partnerships with AISD including unique inclusion classrooms, after school programs and summer camps for school-age children. The Circle C Child Development Center is a private, not-for-profit company with a volunteer board of directors. It is independent of the Circle C Ranch Homeowners Association. The preschool and its programs are funded by tuition, fees and fundraising. Because of its unique history as part of the Circle C Ranch neighborhood, The Child Development Center is the only preschool of its kind.

Front Steps' mission is based on the belief that all people deserve the dignity of a safe place to call home, Front Steps’ mission is to provide a pathway home through shelter, affordable housing, and community education. We work to provide excellent case management, support, and shelter services. Our efforts help people experiencing chronic homelessness transition into a variety of sustainable housing options. We also strive to educate the community about the needs of men and women experiencing homelessness and innovative approaches to meeting those needs. Our vision is to provide real answers and real solutions to the needs of people experiencing homelessness. Front Steps provides a continuum of services for ending homelessness. Front Steps meets the needs of homeless individuals by leveraging broad, diversified streams of funding and community support. Front Steps exercises a leadership role with providers, policy makers, and the community for real answers to issues facing homeless people.
