Senior accountant involved in a vast array of financial and accounting related functions related to the daily activities and endeavors of the E&P company. Key objectives include managing JIB processing, establishing proper allocations and accruals, reviewing all JIB accounting entries for accuracy and completeness, maintaining entries are in accordance with JOA and other affiliated agreements, and ensuring JIB systems and procedures are most effective and efficient. Additional responsibilities include staying familiar with current COPAS models and accounting procedures, conducting reconciliations and analyses, assisting with financial reporting, and performing special projects designated by the CFO and controller as needed. In addition to accounting and financial duties, additional responsibilities include serving as an IT Senior responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of all company IT systems and procedures. This undertaking includes working with all staff members and third-party IT-representatives in an effort to resolve any IT issues incurred along with implementing new systems and procedures to make company operations more effective and efficient.
