Emerald Youth Foundation is a Christian, urban youth ministry that serves more than 1,400 urban children, teens and young adults each year. Our ministry is implemented through a network of more than 15 churches and faith-based organizations in five youth and community zones. We desire to raise up a large number of urban youth to love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities.

United Way of Greater Knoxville fights to improve the Health, Education, and Financial Stability of each and every person in our community. We support 119 programs across 56 agencies to ensure we help as many people as possible, in all the ways possible. UWGK raises money to meet the needs of our community. The money that is raised here, stays here - and helps over 100,000 Knoxvillians each year. The Children's Bible Club Bookstore is a religious institution company based out of Milton, FL, United States. It was founded by Dayton and Carolyn Hobbs in 1954 as a bus ministry for the children in the area. Soon the programs were recorded and used on the radio. Finally, the CBC stories were put in print form and the bookstore still ships orders all over the USA daily in an effort to share the Gospel message of Jesus. The well-loved Living Stories series is also owned by the CBC Bookstore.

Goodwill is much more than just retail stores. Since 1923, Chattanooga Goodwill Industries has helped people with disabilities and other disadvantages get the training and support they need to find competitive employment in the community. We’ve been in the business of empowering people through work and employment for nearly a century! We provide a hand up, not a handout, to people who face a variety of barriers. Challenges might be mental, physical and emotional disabilities or other disadvantages such as a lack of education or a long absence from the working world. We offer them job training and other resources they need to find and keep a job. People who come to Goodwill want to be self-sufficient members of the community. They know the sense of independence and self-worth that comes with earning a paycheck. Funding for these programs and services comes from the sale of donated items in Goodwill retail stores; from personal, corporate and state financial contributions; and from contract labor services that Goodwill provides to businesses and government. Goodwill is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means that all material and financial donations are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law. We are a member agency of Goodwill Industries International and United Way of Greater Chattanooga, and we are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
