The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians is a federally recognized Native American tribe in the United States of America, who are descended from Cherokee who remained in the Eastern United States while others moved or were forced to relocate to the west in the 19th century. The history of the Eastern Band is synonymous with that of the Qualla Boundary, although the EBCI own, hold, or maintain additional lands in the vicinity, and as far away as 100 miles from the Qualla Boundary. The Eastern Cherokee are the descendants primarily of those persons listed on the Baker Rolls of Cherokee Indians. Founded in 1954, American Whitewater is a national non-profit organization (Non-profit # 23-7083760) with a mission “to conserve and restore America's whitewater resources and to enhance opportunities to enjoy them safely.” American Whitewater is a membership organization representing a broad diversity of individual whitewater enthusiasts, river conservationists, and more than 100 local paddling club affiliates across America. The organization is the primary advocate for the preservation and protection of whitewater rivers throughout the United States, and connects the interests of human-powered recreational river users with ecological and science-based data to achieve the goals within its mission.

Emerald Youth Foundation is a Christian, urban youth ministry that serves more than 1,400 urban children, teens and young adults each year. Our ministry is implemented through a network of more than 15 churches and faith-based organizations in five youth and community zones. We desire to raise up a large number of urban youth to love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities.

Our goal is to provide all youth with the gifts of a world class Club experience that ASSURES SUCCESS is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members ON TRACK TO GRADUATE high school with a PLAN FOR THE FUTURE, demonstrating GOOD CHARACTER and citizenship, and living a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. For every hour a child spends in school, they spend two hours out of school. How they spend those out of school hours can significantly impact the path they take, especially for low income youth. We need to reach more Sevier County kids who are without after school and summer programming so we can break the cycle of poverty and guide them to become productive, caring and responsible adults.

The Children's Bible Club Bookstore is a religious institution company based out of Milton, FL, United States. It was founded by Dayton and Carolyn Hobbs in 1954 as a bus ministry for the children in the area. Soon the programs were recorded and used on the radio. Finally, the CBC stories were put in print form and the bookstore still ships orders all over the USA daily in an effort to share the Gospel message of Jesus. The well-loved Living Stories series is also owned by the CBC Bookstore.
