Jim Hatchell is a passionate speaker, coach, trainer, and lifelong learner. A proud military veteran, Jim served our Nation for more than 30 years. During his Air Force career, he held many leadership positions, but most significantly, he served as the Chief of Recruiting Operations for the Air National Guard. After retiring from the military, Jim directed the Employment and Compensation office for the National Guard Bureau. He later served as the Director of Human Resources with the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice, where he led a team of HR professionals through the economic crises of 2008. Jim retired from State Government in 2014 started Palmetto Leadership, LLC, the next day. Jim is a graduate of Coker College and numerous Air Force leadership academies and schools. He and his wife, Dale, reside in Lexington. S.C. and are both faith-driven servant leaders and entrepreneurs. They spend most of their free time traveling and enjoying their three young grandchildren.
