We partner with individuals, families and businesses to create charitable funds to help them realize their philanthropic vision. At Housing Trust, we use transformative housing finance and public and private partnerships to create more equitable and affordable communities. As a certified CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution), we lead the greater Bay Area in delivering innovative financial solutions and creating a strong affordable housing market. Housing Trust Silicon Valley was created in 2000 by affordable housing activists, local businesses, public and private sector leaders, and foundations. We are now one of the largest housing trusts in the nation, and the first nonprofit CDFI to receive a Standard & Poor’s rating, AA-. Through our innovative programs and deep partnerships, we bring together people and resources to create affordable and sustainable housing opportunities for all our neighbors, from those experiencing homelessness, to renters, to first-time homebuyers. When everyone in the community has safe, stable, and affordable housing, we all benefit. Housing Trust is making loans in the 14 counties where we live and work in the greater Bay Area, including Sacramento, that have one thing in common – a critical need for affordable housing and more capital to support its development.

We provide resources for people to do good. We're your local community foundation in Santa Cruz County, California. We have total assets over $135 million and awarded over $5.8 million in grants in 2017. We connect with donors, professional advisors and nonprofit leaders to provide them with the resources and tools they need. What began as a golf game between friends in 1937, Monterey Peninsula Foundation has consistently hosted world-class golf charity events, using the proceeds to power positive community change across Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties. Our mission, and everything we do, centers on golf and giving. Monterey Peninsula Foundation stages two celebrated golf tournaments: the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the PGA TOUR and the PURE Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach, a PGA TOUR Champions event. Each year, the community investments that stem each of these golf tournaments support hundreds of nonprofits working to impact thousands of lives in the Central Coast region in California.

Community Health Partnership, Inc. (also known as "CHP") was founded in 1993 in response to community concern for the viability of community-based, primary care health centers. By joining together in a local consortium, community health centers are able to enhance their services to low-income patients through the CHP’s collaborative projects. Initially serving Santa Clara County health centers, Community Health Partnership expanded into San Mateo County in 2004. It is widely recognized that community health centers serve as an essential “safety net” for the area’s most vulnerable residents. CHP members and staff are committed to developing and advocating for affordable health services that meet the needs of our diverse population. Community Health Partnership’s members include Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI), Gardner Family Health Network, Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley, Mar Monte Community Clinic, MayView Community Health Center, North East Medical Services (NEMS), Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Ravenswood Family Health Center, RotaCare Bay Area, Inc., and School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County. In addition, Community Health Partnership is fortunate to have countless partners whose ongoing financial support helps to achieve our organization’s mission. Many of our member health centers were founded to provide primary care to medically underserved populations. Their commitment to this mission holds strong to this day. CHP’s member health centers have multi-cultural and culturally competent staff. In addition to primary care services, our member health centers and clinics offer an array of programs, including dental care, mental health services, support groups, family planning, case management, health education, nutritional care, outreach, and prenatal services.

Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) is a non-profit resource and advocate for students, educators, and corporate and individual donors. We drive scholastic achievement in the critical areas of math and science by combining resources and partnerships to provide innovative academic programs. We are a catalyst for policy solutions in public education. Our mission is to make Silicon Valley the leader in academically prepared students. Recipient of FOUR-STAR from Charity Navigator. Ranked one of the top 50 Education Foundations.

Responsible for the writing and implementation of natural resource management plans projects in a diversity of large wilderness landscapes in Monterey County. Manages habitats among a matrix of complex ecosystems that include Big Sur, Carmel Valley, Sierra de Salinas, Arroyo Seco, and coastal dunes in the Monterey Bay Dune Complex, using integrated management that includes ranching, agriculture, prescribed fire, and other management tools. Writes grants for all projects to implement under the auspices of management plans. Also serves as the GIS coordinator for the Big Sur Land Trust.

The California Association of Nonprofits (CalNonprofits) is the voice for California's nonprofit community. We are a statewide policy alliance of more than 10,000 organizations, representing and promoting California's growing nonprofit sector. We sponsor the annual California Nonprofits Day in Sacramento, and commissioned the landmark study: Causes Count: "The Economic Power of California's Nonprofit Sector."​ Causes Count - New Findings! was published in 2019. San Jose Downtown Association (SJDA) is a non-profit membership-based organization founded in 1986. SJDA represents business and property owners working to enhance the vitality and livability of downtown San Jose. Join us: http://sjdowntown.com/opportunities/ The Downtown Association • Works in collaboration with its Property-Based Improvement District (PBID) and Groundwerx for ongoing improvements to downtown’s cleanliness, security, aesthetics and delivery of services. • Advocates on a number of issues that affect downtown business and property owners. • Enhances the image of downtown and attract new visitors through year-round marketing, public relations, and special events. • Facilitates the development of parking, housing and retail. • Provides assistance to downtown business and property owners on day-to-day concerns, working to cut “red tape”, simplify processes and find new solutions. The SJDA has developed fun, safe, and family-oriented events that promote and energize the San Jose downtown core. For each of the past 19 years the SJDA has managed more than 100 days of programming in the downtown area. Production of quality events is a SJDA core competency, our current staff represents 70+ years of combined experience managing all aspects the organizations events.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Headquartered in San Jose, CA, the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council delivers the Scouting program to San Benito, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Guided by a talented staff and dedicated board of directors, our thousands of adult volunteers make a direct and positive impact to over 13,000 youth in our community through a variety of fun and challenging experiences. It's difficult for them to build assets and get ahead. By focusing on these two tough issues, United Way will help families achieve real, longterm stability. And that benefits us all. To tackle these complex problems, UWMC is bringing together diverse segments of the community – business, government, nonprofits and faith-based groups.
