Community Integrated Services’ mission is to empower people with disabilities through individualized employment opportunities that foster self-sustainability, equality, and community. Through partnerships with area businesses and organizations, CIS works to find jobs that fulfill the employment goals and desires for the people they serve. We believe that all people have the right and responsibility to be an active part of their community, regardless of their disability, and Community Integrated Services helps people with disabilities achieve their employment goals. We provide support during the job search, during the first days at a new job, and then continue support at work on an as-needed basis. The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank has been dedicated to ending hunger for more than 30 years. The Food Bank started as a one-day demonstration project on World Food Day in 1981, and to address the needs of hungry families, began permanent operation on October 16, 1982. Originally, the Food Bank was located in a converted movie theater in Steelton. The Food Bank initiated a capital campaign, raising 1.5 million dollars directed to the construction of a brand new warehouse. Then, in 1994, the Food Bank relocated to its current facility in Harrisburg. Mission: Fighting hunger, improving lives, strengthening communities. At the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, we live our mission every day. It is our passion. We truly believe no one should be hungry and we are committed to working harder every day to make that belief a reality. What We Do: Serving 27 counties, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is the largest nonprofit food distribution organization in central PA. The Food Bank solicits, inventories and distributes food and other donated products to more than 1000 partner agencies (food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, etc.) directly serving our neighbors in need. The Food Bank distributed more than 50 million nutritious meals through our partner networks over the past year. The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is part of the Feeding America and Feeding Pennsylvania network of food banks.

Quality Progressions is a non-profit Supports Coordination Organization (SCO) in Pennsylvania that locates, coordinates, and monitors supports and services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to be people-driven, committed, and progressive in our relationship to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. We currently serve 11 counties throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, and have supported over 4,000 individuals in achieving employment, participating in their local community, and making meaningful choices in their lives since 2004. We have distinguished ourselves among the region's Supports Coordination sector by delivering services in a way that is uniquely person-centered, outcome-oriented, and individualized. Our organization was founded on the philosophy that services should reflect the values of choice, self-determination, and achievement of outcomes as determined by the individual.
