Habib along with twelve experienced employees dedicated to maintaining the craft of carpet weaving in the U.S.A.  Today, over 45 years later, Bloomsburg Carpet's integrity is maintained and strengthened by the leadership of Raymond's son, Thomas Habib. As we continue to grow and expand, our commitment to quality and design remains strong.  We are dedicated to producing highly styled carpets of superior quality and are proud to be notably recognized as the only carpet mill in the world to offer Wilton, Axminster, Velvet, and Loc-Weave weaving all under one roof. With a passion for the tradition of American manufacturing, we are committed to keeping the long history of carpet weaving alive and thriving in the U.S.A. At the Bloomsburg Carpet Mill we are committed to the time-honored technique of carpet weaving along with the beauty and excellence that this technique creates. Many weavers here are 2nd generation weavers, whose parents also operated looms at our mill. The dyeing and finishing mill processes over 4 million pounds of fabric during the course of any specific year while the custom dye lab creates tens of thousands custom dyes for clients’ specific end uses annually. Fieldtex Products has a long history of success, and deep roots right here in Rochester, NY. The company was originally established in 1843 as the J.E. Field Company which manufactured awnings and tents. Current owner and President, Sanford Abbey, saw potential in the case manufacturing industry and changed operations upon purchase. Fieldtex has expanded and now operates out of a 55,000 sq. ft building in Rochester. The company has since grown to include three divisions: Fieldtex Cases produces soft sided carrying cases for portable electronic equipment for medical and military markets. We also produce and distribute a variety of consumer cases, hard-sided cases, military cases and custom strapping/belting. Fieldtex Medical was launched in 1996 to distribute first aid kits and medical supplies. The company carries first aid kits for any type of activity and can even customize kits for specific needs.
