The embedded microcontroller in this design used VISCA communication protocol to talk to the vision cameras via UART. This was developed on Texas Instruments’ 32-bit microcontroller using Code Composer Studio. • Developed a USB data acquisition GUI application using Microsoft .NET Code Development IDE to validate and test this embedded robotic vision system.• Used MATLAB/SIMULINK to design, develop and simulate force, velocity and position feedback control systems for the end-effector on the bomb disposal robot.• Used C programming language in Code Composer Studio on Texas Instruments’32-bit Tiva microcontroller to implement digital feedback control for the force, velocity and position of the end-effector’s fingers. These control functionalities of the fingers were required to enable the robot to be used in handling delicate functions necessary to defuse a bomb.• Used Microsoft .NET SDK to program in C++ a USB-based data acquisition GUI that connected to the microcontroller within the embedded robot system to allow control of the robot functions through a test computer
