The University of Oregon Foundation is a nonprofit corporation responsible for administering private gifts made to further the University's mission. Although the Foundation is a separate entity from the University, the Foundation's sole reason for existence is to partner with the University and serve in our donors'​ best interests. We are committed to the highest standards of service and ethical conduct when it comes to managing donor's gifts for the benefit of the University. Since 1922, the Foundation has received, invested, and distributed private gifts, funding student scholarships, faculty support, academic programs, and building improvements. The Board approved investment strategy and distribution rate are designed to provide stable financial support for the University while preserving the purchasing power of endowment and trusts funds in the future. The Foundation ensures that all University spending of donor money is consistent with the donor's intention. Ensuring the management of donor gifts is a tremendous responsibility that every board member and every staff person take very seriously. It factors into every major decision the Foundation and its Board make, whether that decision will affect the University today or not for many years to come.

Inflexion is a nonprofit consulting group that partners with educators to help them better prepare their students for life after high school. Inflexion was formerly known as the Educational Policy Improvement Center (EPIC), changing our name as we shifted from a focus on state and federal policy to one of direct partnerships with educators. We give districts and schools a new way to look at themselves — with all their complexity and culture — to find ways to create a learning community with the best systems and supports to ensure all students graduate ready for college, career, and life. At Inflexion, we firmly believe that our schools and our society have the responsibility to prepare students for life, not just tests. In today’s global, connected world, information itself is available 24/7. It’s no longer what you know, but what you can do with this knowledge. This isn’t new, nor is the concept of College and Career Readiness, but somehow ‘the system’ remains focused mostly on content knowledge.This deficit in what we are valuing, teaching, and measuring undermines every student’s opportunity for success, but especially those in underserved populations and struggling schools. This needs to change. Everywhere. We see a future where education works for all students; where readiness and success are defined by students’ engagement, adaptability, and what they can do with their knowledge, rather than just content mastery and testing. We want to be a creative catalyst inspiring, equipping, and linking schools to create this future.

DISTANCE LEARNING SOLUTIONS, INC. is a company based out of Oregon, United States. The Fossil Distance Learning Program is an innovative virtual program within the Fossil Charter School in Fossil, Oregon. This program provides diverse educational opportunities to students all across the State of Oregon, as well as in the rural brick and mortar school in Fossil. Fossil Charter School contracts with Distance Learning Solutions, Inc. to administer and deliver the instructional and related services to students enrolled in Fossil Distance Learning Program.

Ashbrook Independent School is a private, secular, college preparatory school providing quality education to students from preschool through grade eight. Their solid foundation of core subjects is enhanced by instruction in foreign language, art, music and physical education. Small class sizes allow for individualized attention from teachers. Ashbrook’s mission is to challenge and nurture academically capable students.
