Western Wood Structures, Inc. has been living up to its name for 50 years. Founded in May 1969 by a team of Timber Construction Specialists with many combined years of experience in the sale, design, manufacture, and erection of engineered wood systems. WWS can act as a sub-contractor to furnish and install the components used in timber domes, bridges, or roof structures. Our field services department is also trained to provide inspection, evaluation and repair of distressed timber trusses and glulam beams. Hewn has created a line of reproduction barnwood, using mill direct materials and a proprietary non toxic wood treatment process. It is guaranteed to be free of lead, arsenic and other common antique wood contaminants. Our alternative to reclaimed barnwood is intended to replicate actual barn wood, and is nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. It will darken when wet and lighten back to color when dry, and will age gracefully over the years.
