The Oregon Education Association (OEA) is a union that represents about 44,000 educators working in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 public schools and community colleges. OEA’s membership includes licensed teachers and specialists, classified/education support professionals (ESPs), community college faculty, retired educators, and student members. OEA members also belong to the 3.2 million members of the National Education Association (NEA). OEA members are affiliated with Local Associations, which bargain their work contract with support from OEA staff. Local Associations also collaborate with local school districts, community colleges, school boards, and community leaders to provide the basic right of great public education to every student.

We are an organization of more than 72,000 people who, by joining together, are achieving what we cannot accomplish alone. By standing together, we have a voice in our contracts and our daily work lives. We provide valuable services to our communities, doing more than 500 different jobs in 85 state, local government and non-profit agencies and care facilities. The services we provide include helping Deaf people get access to education, testing new drivers, collecting revenue, helping veterans, assisting at-risk youth, repairing bridges, maintaining Oregon’s parks and caring for children, seniors, and people with disabilities — just to name a few. The work we do touches the lives of every single Oregonian. We are proud to stand together for the quality services we provide for our communities and families.

The National Network of Abortion Funds builds power with members to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access by centering people who have abortions and organizing at the intersections of racial, economic, and reproductive justice.

Boys & Girls Aid strives to find lifelong connections for children who face abuse and neglect. Founded in 1885, we continue to help Oregon’s children find permanent homes through adoption, while providing temporary shelter for children in transition. Easterseals Oregon's mission is to be the organization that provides exceptional services and resources that make a tangible and positive impact on society. We serve children and adults with disabilities, veterans, mature job seekers, and their families, ensuring all feel included and valued and have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities Our services are divided into 5 different programs that serve numerous counties across the state: Barrier-Free Summer Camp - an annual, barrier-free summer camp for children and adults with disabilities. This presents opportunities for social interaction, growth, and lasting memories; additionally, our camp provides much-deserved respite time for parents and caretakers. Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) - service US Military Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, this program provides housing assistance, limited financial assistance, and numerous other services to help prevent and solve homelessness. Connecting Communities - employment classes, job-search assistance, technological literacy courses and ESL (English as a Second Language) courses for individuals who have both a documented disability and a language barrier. Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) - services that assist veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We provide veterans with the tools they need to gain new skill sets such as financial literacy, computer training, job search training, and interview guidance. Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) - for low-income seniors who seek employment, training assistance, and social engagement. We partner with community-based non-profit organizations and government agencies to provide participants with training opportunities to update their skills. During their part-time internship, seniors receive minimum wage to help supplement their income until they receive permanent employment.
