Relief Nursery has been strengthening families and keeping children safe in Lane County for over 40 years. Relief Nursery programs have been demonstrated to have far-reaching, positive impacts on children and families. Relief Nursery families become more self-sufficient and raise their children in safer, more stable environments.

• Coordinating music, transporting and setting up audio and visual equipment, and promoting five large events on the University of Oregon campus, attended by an estimated total of 2,200 college students • Coordinating music for a weekly campus event attended by 250+ people. Tasks include scheduling band members, organizing song lists, transporting audio equipment, coordinating audio/visual setup, and promoting the event through flyers and social media

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County, Inc. was established in 1954 and is the largest nonprofit human services organization in Lane County, Oregon. Our mission is to "assist the poor and those in need of consolation, seeking out and utilizing every resource. Being mindful of the sanctity and dignity of all, any charitable work that advances those goals is within the mission of St. Vincent de Paul."​ We are committed to providing comprehensive programs to alleviate poverty and help all individuals find a path out of poverty and into self-sufficiency. Our main programmatic focuses are: Affordable housing: more than 1,500 units have been developed since 1988 and expanded to eight mobile home park restoration and management across Lane and Multnomah counties. Emergency services: includes food boxes, vouchers to our retail thrift stores, rent and utilities assistance, and various supply drives throughout the year. Homeless services: Single adults, youth, and families have access to restrooms, showers, laundry and access to overnight shelters with resources aiding in finding permanent housing. We also have a specific program for Veterans and their families that provide opportunities for transition after drug/addiction treatment and housing support. Recycle programs: in 2019, SVDP recycled more than 37 million pounds of material that would have crowded landfills. Retail Thrift Stores: our waste-based enterprises like our thrift stores, used car lot, and online book sales fund our life-stabilizing programs and allows us to serve more vulnerable members of our community. All of these programs just scratch the surface of SVDP's commitment to ending the cycle of homelessness. Your support and advocacy ensures a stronger neighborhood, community, and world.

Our community of staff, volunteers, parents, and supporters believe that the promise of tomorrow begins today. With your help, we have the opportunity to give young people in a small rural community a sense of The Boys &Girls Clubs of Western Lane County was founded in 1998 to serve the needs of the families of Florence and the surrounding communities. The Club provides a safe, educational, cost-effective environment for the families of our community 5 days per week, year-round. Our philosophy is simple; we never charge more than the poorest family can afford. Our annual membership fee is just $25 per child and no child will ever be excluded based on their ability to pay. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Lane County is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We provide a safe, positive place to learn and grow, life-enhancing programs staffed by caring adult professionals, character development experiences that promote responsibility, compassion, and service to others, goals to instill confidence & hope through opportunity. Our Club provides diverse activities that meet the interests of all youth. Core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and reach their full potential.
