If not for Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa families – including brothers, sisters, and grandparents – would spend their days and nights in hotels, their cars, or hospital waiting rooms to be close to their sick children. If not for Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa families – including brothers, sisters, and grandparents – would spend their days and nights in hotels, their cars, or hospital waiting rooms to be close to their sick children. Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa is an independent, locally owned and operated 501(c)(3) corporation. It is a Chapter member of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc., an alliance of Houses in 64 countries and serving 5.5 million children and families annually. The House operates through its Board of Directors and Advisory Board, comprised of parents, health professionals, McDonald’s representatives, community volunteers, business and civic leaders, all working together to provide this much-needed service. Income streams consist of donations and endowment earnings. Almost everything needed to run a home has been donated at one time or another as an in-kind gift. Everything from food, toothpaste, and laundry soap… to beds, televisions, furniture, and a House van to help with transportation. Cash is generated through giving programs, fundraisers, planned giving, and bequests.

Located in downtown Tulsa, Okla., the Mission provides food, shelter, clothing and restorative programs to those in need. Since its founding in 1952, the Mission has served in excess of 4 million meals and provided over 1 million individual shelters to the homeless. Tulsa's Only Gospel Rescue Mission John 3:16 Mission is Tulsa's only Gospel Rescue Mission and is a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM). As such, it emphasizes the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to transform even the most broken lives for the better. To this end, the Mission strives through all its programs to emulate the compassion and love of Jesus so that the lives of homeless and at-risk people can be improved. The Mission's overnight shelter at 506 N. Cheyenne Ave. provides a safe refuge from the street each night for up to 110 men. We also serve, on average, more than 500 meals each day to Tulsa's homeless and at-risk. Additionally, the Mission operates a Family & Youth Center located in north Tulsa that is dedicated to family and community restoration. The FYC provides material, spiritual and educational support to at-risk, low-income families living in inner-city environments.
