FIRST NATIONAL BANK & TRUST, ELK CITY
FIRST NATIONAL BANK & TRUST, ELK CITY
Elk City, Oklahoma
All Size Average employees
On March 21, 1901, just nine short days after the first townsite lots for the new city of Elk City were sold, the Thurmond Brothers - E.K., A.L., O.H., A.N., and I.C. - formed the First National Bank of Elk City. The bank was started with $25,000.00 in capital. Since such meager beginnings, both Elk City and First National have grown in size and stature. Since 1901, descendants of the Thurmond Brothers have owned and managed the bank. As many banks came and went throughout the first of the century, FNB stood strong and grew stronger. As FNB approached its fiftieth anniversary, it planned a complete remodel and renovation of its bank building. By this time FNB had been given the nickname as "Old Reliable" because no matter what was thrown its way it still stood strong. Later, the bank acquired trust powers; changed its name to First National Bank & Trust, Elk City, Oklahoma; opened a branch in Sayre, Oklahoma; and purchased the Mike Neff Agency and later the Cooper West Agency to form the Western Oklahoma Insurance Agency, Inc., in order to expand our services. Today, First National Bank & Trust is consistently recognized by independent bank rating agencies as one of the top banks in the country. It is the only local bank that started with Elk City and it is the only local bank that has been under the same ownership and management since 1901. From its meager beginnings in 1901, the bank has grown to over $326,000,000 in total assets and over $34,000,000 in capital. Our Vision •Providing the people of Western Oklahoma a strong and complete financial home •Caring for our customers with friendly, dependable, personal service through every stage of life •Honoring our heritage as leaders in service to our communities. There is a Difference... At FNB&T, we are truly committed to working WITH our customers in helping them to succeed in what they are trying to accomplish. Visit www.fnbec.com or call 1.580.225.2580. MILLENNIUM CORPORATE CREDIT UNION
MILLENNIUM CORPORATE CREDIT UNION
Wichita, Kansas

Kansas Corporate was chartered November 1951, a milestone act, providing credit unions a cooperative correspondent ally in the financial services industry. Today, over 70 years later, we’re still working with credit unions to better the financial well-being of their members’ lives. Our national field of membership allows us to partner with credit unions outside the great state of Kansas, however, it wasn’t until 2005 that we actively began promoting our services outside state boundaries. Credit unions from surrounding areas quickly learned of our commitment to the credit union industry and the value of partnering with Kansas Corporate. Membership grew. This growth continued in the years to follow with the occurrence of two mergers. The first, in 2012, with Treasure State Corporate Credit Union in Helena, MT, and the second, in 2015, with Missouri Corporate Credit Union in St. Louis, MO. Through our mergers and membership expansion efforts, Millennium Corporate has grown to serve just shy of 300 credit unions in 8 states. That’s right, Millennium Corporate. With the aforementioned growth and expansion into areas outside Kansas, a name that was once so fitting, no longer seemed so. In 2015, Kansas Corporate underwent a rebranding initiative to become Millennium Corporate Credit Union. This new name and brand doesn’t change who we are or what we believe, it simply reflects who we’ve become and where we’ll go from here.
