Responsibilities included managing risk and coordinating insurance programs and presentations, recommending appropriate coverage levels for all lines of coverage. Evaluating various alternative risk transfer solutions, including captives and self-insurance. Providing service and guidance in the areas of claims management, letters of credit, surety bonds and working capital needs. Acted as a liaison between company operations and various independent engineering companies during site visits. Analyzing various capital structure and risk management alternatives with various institutional lenders and develop recommendations on appropriate programs. Other responsibilities included cash management through institutional investments and providing availability of adequate funds to finance daily cash requirements. Monitoring quarterly debt compliance for a large credit facility and private placement of senior notes. Evaluating, reviewing, and monitoring credit guidelines for customers.
