Book Dog Book, LLC has an e-commerce retail presence that services across the country and in Europe in regards to college textbooks, consumer electronics and K-12 books.
In HR Role:
Oversees the full scope of human resources. Directs staff in the areas of: organizational structure, employment, compensation, employee database maintenance, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, orientation/training/development, and policy/procedure development.
Responsible for benefits strategy (medical, 401k, FSA, etc.), contract negotiations, benefits administration, annual audits and open enrolment process. May serve as a trustee, plan administrator and fiduciary for benefit programs. Leadership liaison for all broker, vendors, auditors and third party administrators.
Develops, recommends and implements policies and produces to support business goals: responsible for employee handbook and updates as needed.
