Mission Statement: The Welcome House Way We are caring people committed to working together to promote the dignity of people with disabilities. We are caring people. We leave negativity at the door. We are open to diversity. We stand up for ourselves and for all that is important to us. We are here for a reason. We are committed to working together. We pick up the lettuce! We talk. We listen. We seek to understand. If we don't, we ask. We know we are going to make mistakes - so we own them and learn from them. We promote dignity. We do good. We find patience with others and ourselves.
