EMF today offers an innovative portfolio of precision custom and high-volume coatings for a wide range of industries including automotive, defense, consumer electronics, dentistry, astronomy, utilities, lighting and entertainment. Coatings can be applied to glass, metals, ceramics, plastics, and including IR optics such as germanium, zinc sulfide, zinc selenide, and chalcogenides.

Founded in 1936, Evaporated Metal Films (EMF) was the first company in the US to offer thin film coatings. For over 80 years, EMF has continually expanded and refined its capabilities to deliver high performance optical coatings.
Throughout the years, EMF has expanded the breadth of their optical coating technology and capacity. In 1987, a 44,000 square foot facility was purpose-built to accommodate a growing customer base in automotive components, display systems, instrumentation, satellite communications, flexible substrates, protective face shields, power cell components, glass, and lighting. An additional 50,000 square foot facility was added in Rochester, NY in 2014 which significantly expanded the large chamber coating capabilities and capacity.

Calienté is an innovative and inventive designer and manufacturer of pad heating and mat heating style elements and heater foils for thin, “green” spot heating, including battery heaters and military thermal targets. We also offer FCH forced convection heaters, based on self regulating PTC (positive temperature coefficient), for safe efficient space/area heating. The FCH heaters are available for AC or DC input. Calienté is also the manufacturer of the FRIO line solid state, peltier based thermoelectric coolers for small area cooling and heating. These green air conditioners eliminate the need for freon or other coolants, as well as the associated maintenance, and are ideal for small to mid-sized enclosures and kiosks. We also offer the FRIO line thermostats and electronic controls for effective thermal protection, including new programmable thermoelectric controls, and high load DC relays and controls. Calienté also offers assembly services, up to and including kit build, burn-in testing and field shipment of full enclosure systems. Our SENSORE sensor line creates a sensor mat with and array of multiple sensing points over a wider area, for a more accurate picture of a system. We are in development of sensors that can measure temperature, pressure, leaks/moisture and biochemicals. Realize the benefits of smarter thermal design, inventive thinking, and responsive customer service. Contact Calienté today—www.calientellc.com, [email protected], or +1 260 426 3800.

Sterling Manufacturing is owned and operated by Lon Lehman and Chip Tippmann. Lon and Chip both started in the Commercial Steamer business with Accutemp Products in 1992. Accutemp was the first company to manufacture Connectionless Steamers exclusively. Lon performed Manufacturing/Design Engineering while creating and managing the Service Dept. and Chip was the first Outside Sales Representative for Accutemp. Lon finished his tenure with Accutemp as the head of Engineering and Chip had become sole owner of an Outside Sales Rep. Company, which sold Accutemp Products exclusively through much of the United States. In the spring of 2003, Lon and Chip ventured out together and started Intek Manufacturing. Intek manufactured the Xtreme Steam Connectionless Steamer and in 2004, Intek was presented the Appliance Design of the Year Award. Intek was acquired by Unified Brands in 2010. Lon and Chip currently hold five patents related to Commercial Cooking Equipment and have several additional patent applications pending approval. In September of 2014, Lon and Chip formed Sterling Manufacturing and designed the Sterling Steamer. The Sterling Steamer is the culmination of 23 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, servicing and marketing Steam Cooking Equipment.
