The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians is a federally recognized Native American tribe in the United States of America, who are descended from Cherokee who remained in the Eastern United States while others moved or were forced to relocate to the west in the 19th century. The history of the Eastern Band is synonymous with that of the Qualla Boundary, although the EBCI own, hold, or maintain additional lands in the vicinity, and as far away as 100 miles from the Qualla Boundary. The Eastern Cherokee are the descendants primarily of those persons listed on the Baker Rolls of Cherokee Indians. Finally, the CBC stories were put in print form and the bookstore still ships orders all over the USA daily in an effort to share the Gospel message of Jesus. The well-loved Living Stories series is also owned by the CBC Bookstore.

For every hour a child spends in school, they spend two hours out of school. How they spend those out of school hours can significantly impact the path they take, especially for low income youth. We need to reach more Sevier County kids who are without after school and summer programming so we can break the cycle of poverty and guide them to become productive, caring and responsible adults.

ABYSA / HFC is a full service non profit soccer organization serving over 5000 families in Western NC. We offer Recreation, Academy, Challenge, Classic, and Adult Rec play through our membership with the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer.
