Founded in 1998, Carolina Commercial Contractors is a family owned and operated commercial contracting company. Located in the center of North Carolina in Sanford, CCC has developed and built projects all across NC as well as in South Carolina and Virginia. CCC specializes in multi-family housing, self storage facilities, and senior care assisted living and independent living homes. Recent projects include the beautiful luxury apartment complex Amelia Station, a 216 unit community in Clayton, NC. The project includes a large clubhouse complete with billiard room, exercise room and coffee bar. Outside the clubhouse is a large swimming pool with outside grilling and area and poorhouse. There is also a dog walking area with greenway. Amelia station is conveniently located right off of Route 70, close to skipping areas and the area medical facilities. Past successes include two mini-storage facilities, called Triangle Storage, located in Apex and in Raleigh off Tryon Road. The projects are aesthetically pleasing, welcoming, and efficient. They offer climate controlled storage options in several different sizes. The Oaks Apartments in Sanford, a 350 unit complex, is another example of CCC's work.

Fletcher Industries remains active in manufacturing and textiles after more than 170 years. Founded Schaum & Uhlinger, Fletcher is a global brand of weaving, twisting, and winding machines. In 1959, the company moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina, from Philadelphia and then opened additional facilities in Statesville, North Carolina, in 1960.
