ECAC supports families navigating early intervention, special education and the transition to adulthood. We help families and youth to know their rights, and to use their voice. We provide information, support, training and resources to assist families caring for children with special needs from birth to age 26, as well as the educators and professionals who serve them. We also support young adults with disabilities in becoming self-advocates and leaders. ECAC is the state’s designated Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) and receives funding from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs. ALL of our services to families are at no cost. ECAC partners with multiple agencies that have a shared desire to improve outcomes for children with disabilities.
