Michelle is committed to helping leaders build their businesses and grow their companies by identifying and recruiting the best talent on their behalf.She places leaders and works with those leaders to build top-tier multidisciplinary teams, often from the ground-up. Consulting projects include restructuring departments to improve creativity and innovation. In addition, she guides clients on the selection of consultants for Marketing, Merchandising, Strategy/Innovation, Digital, Design, Product Development, and Corporate Identity initiatives.Michelle recently participated in the Design Management Institute dmi: Symposium Insights – “Shifting Design: reImagine & reInvent” panel on Design Majors and Careers Today, as well as in the dmi: Diversity in Design and the dmi: Leadership Conference. Previously, she was a moderator for the dmi: New York Conference Panel on What Design Competencies Will Deliver in the Future. She has written for Forbes Magazine, examining the rising role of the Chief Design Officer. She is a frequent guest lecturer at the prestigious Art Center College of Design and has served on the Advisory Board for the Arizona State University (ASU) Master of Science in Innovation & Venture Development program, which is a transdisciplinary partner between the Engineering, Business and Design departments at ASU. She has served on the advisory boards for the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), the Arizona State University Museum of Art, and the Mesa Museum of Contemporary Art. Michelle received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design.
