Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is a not-for-profit charity serving children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities across New York City and Long Island. Since 1930, Little Flower has been committed to improving the lives and well-being of children, families, and people with developmental disabilities across NYC and Long Island so they can reach their full potential. Our staff of over 500 people builds well-being by providing foster boarding home care, residential treatment care, adoption services, programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and medical and mental health services. Goodwill of Southern New England owns and operates 14 second hand retail stores, 6 attended donation centers, and 1 outlet store throughout south-central and eastern Connecticut. We also own and operate one second hand retail store in South Attleboro, Massachusetts and an attended donation center in Providence, Rhode Island. The Association for Mental Health and Wellness, a non-for-profit corporation based in Ronkonkoma, NY, provides programs, services, and advocacy for people facing mental health challenges with an enhanced focus on serving military Veterans. The organization’s roots go back to 1955 with the incorporation of the Mental Health Association in Suffolk County (MHA Suffolk). In 1990, Clubhouse of Suffolk was launched, providing a wide array of vocational rehabilitation services and recovery programs. With the growing need to provide services for Veterans with PTSD and other battle-related brain injuries, Clubhouse merged with MHA Suffolk and Suffolk County United Veterans in 2014 to form the Association for Mental Health and Wellness.
