We are located on 564 Niagara Street, Buffalo, New York We opened our doors to the community and began to provide quality health care on August 5, 1996. Since that time our office has expanded to include an array of health services. Among other services, our site is fully equipped and available to provide on-site lab services, x-rays, EKGs, spectrometry tests, ultrasounds, venous doppler studies, holters, echos, stress tests and physical therapy. In addition, we offer on-site appointments for specialist's consultations and follow-ups. CARE for Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children of all abilities in McKean County, PA and the surrounding Region. CARE provides pediatric therapy services; sponsors early learning program including an inclusive preschool; and provides community outreach services for children with disabilities. CARE is also the lead agency for McKean County Partnership with Safe Kids Pennsylvania which promotes child safety and injury prevention.

History: EPIC was born out of a tragedy experienced by founder Robert Wilson. In 1977, his wife was murdered by a 15 year old neighbor, a foster child they had befriended. Investigation of the child’s life indicated that he had been abused, neglected, and placed in eleven different foster homes. He had not experienced love; he only knew anger and violence. While it was too late to change what had happened to his wife, Wilson felt that it was not too late for others. In 1980, he established EPIC in Buffalo, New York with a vision of preventing tragedies like his. EPIC workshops and trainings carry out Robert Wilson’s mission by involving the entire community in helping children make responsible decisions, understand and respect authority, develop positive self-esteem, plan for the future, and succeed in life.
