Reported to the Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, banking, taxes, percent of completion accounting, standard operating procedures, and reporting. Managed an Assistant Controller, two Accounting Managers, and two Accountants.
• Moved redundant activities from the Canadian division to the United States division resulting in $20k of annual payroll savings.
• Implemented a formal cash flow forecasting procedure for identifying opportunities and allowing time to affect the results.
