NYSWDA, a 501c3 nonprofit, is the leading provider of building sciences training in New York State and New England, and the winner of the 2016 IREC 3i national award as the Accredited Clean Energy Training Provider of the Year. Established in 1985, and later designated as one of only 15 U.S. Department of Energy legacy weatherization training centers, we have been successfully training thousands of field staff from weatherization agencies, home performance contractors, energy auditing firms and home builders. Our trainers - with over 75 combined years of practical, hands-on home performance experience - provide affordable, high quality training at our state-of-the-art Energy Efficiency Training Center in Syracuse, NY, as well as other regional sites and in the field. NYSWDA has been a Building Performance Institute (BPI) training partner affiliate, and approved BPI Testing Center, since BPI’s inception – and every course we offer is eligible for BPI continuing education units. We are also accredited by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) for several weatherization-required certifications, and approved by OSHA and EPA for health and safety training. Several of our courses also provide continuing education credits for the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Every Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) agency in New York State is a member of NYSWDA. Our Affiliate Members - who receive significant discounts on our training fees, as well as proprietary field resources and assistance with on-site project issues - include private home performance contractors, as well as WAP agencies from New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine and Rhode Island. We are also strongly supported by, and grateful to, our Building Science Industry Partners, who include some of the most innovative and influential manufacturing and distribution companies in the home performance industry.

Our Mission CNY Arts'​ mission is to promote, support, and celebrate arts and culture in Central New York. Who We Are At CNY Arts, we believe that a healthy arts industry is essential to the quality of life and community in Central New York. We strive to connect the general public to the rich array of arts and cultural opportunities in the area. It doesn’t matter where your place is in the arts—artist, audience member, participant, venue, educator or supporter—we want you to create and experience the arts throughout CNY, in every town, city, neighborhood and school. What We Do We provide support and assistance to individual artists and arts and cultural organizations through access to grants, capacity-building assistance, education and training, and promotional services. We serve the counties of Cortland, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego. Our goal is to enhance a greater appreciation for the arts and cultural vibrancy of the region.

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality North American Volunteers is a Public Association of the Christian Faithful founded in the Syracuse Diocese under the Ecclesial Authority of Most Revered James Moynihan. Originally formed in 2002 at the invitation of the Hospitalté Notre-Dame de Lourdes in France, our apostolate mission identifies our primary goal: “to extend the invitation to North Americans and to serve the sick and suffering.”
