The State Personnel Office is responsible for the administration and oversight of the classified service personnel system which consists of approximately 18,000 state employees from approximately 68 executive state agencies, boards and commissions. Mr. Nielsen began his career at Enchantment Land CDC where he was promoted to a business development specialist and credit analyst for the nationally recognized development company. He determined eligibility and provided in-depth analytical reviews of financial and credit data for loan products, prepared pro-forma financial statements and schedules, and served as a 504 program eligibility expert for national and local banks, small business, and the Small Business Administration. During this time, Mr. Nielsen obtained national certification in 504 Credit Analysis, 504 Regulatory Review, Packaging, Closing and Introductory Servicing by the National Association of Development Companies.
