Over 85 years ago, the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry (FOI) was founded as a compassionate effort to meet the spiritual and physical needs of Jewish people whose lives were displaced and tragically affected by the Holocaust. Since its inception in 1938, the ministry continues to stand against every form of anti-Semitism and support the right of the Jewish people to live in their ancient homeland, Israel. Additionally, FOI actively invests in the edification of Christians by teaching Scripture that exemplifies why loving the Jewish people and supporting Israel is integral to the Christian faith. Today, FOI’s presence spans the globe with ministry workers serving Jewish people worldwide.

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey cares for those in need, enhances Jewish life and ensures the continuity of a vibrant Jewish community locally, in Israel and around the world. The Federation, a comprehensive communal organization, is committed to promoting and enhancing Jewish life throughout Southern New Jersey. Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Services (JSHHS), an agency of the Federation, is located at the Jewish Geriatric Home, also in Cherry Hill, and operates the nursing home and three low-to-moderate income apartment buildings and adult day care programs. The Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative is the state-licensed Maternal and Child Health Consortium serving the seven county region of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. For more than 40 years, the agency has been on the frontlines of building a healthier region for families and children. The Cooperative works closely with policymakers, healthcare providers, government agencies and individuals to develop strategies that improve the system of care.
