The Area Agency on Aging Region X, has been serving the senior population of Barton, Jasper, Newton, and McDonald counties since 1979. Region X was the result of a designation in the 1965 Older American’s Act. The Agency is a non-profit, charitable organization with a 501(c)(3) designation. Region Ten’s purpose is to provide services, programs, and information that will assist older persons in maintaining independence and dignity in their lives. Services through this agency are available to persons 60 years of age or older who live in our service area. Priority is given to those individuals with the greatest economic and social need. Information and family caregiver services are provided to people of all ages.

Show-Me Christian Youth Home is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a loving stable Christian home for children with backgrounds of abuse, neglect, abandonment and unfortunate circumstances. Operating ten homes in five locations across Missouri, we are dedicated to promoting the individual development of each child academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This is why our program not only provides long-term residential care for these children, but also a customized education program. Services are available to all persons regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap. The Show-Me Christian Youth Home is accredited through the Missouri Association of Christian Child Care Agencies (MACCA), Association of Christian Children's Ministries International and Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (EFCA). Mission: To inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as caring and productive citizens The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is an authority on positive youth development providing afterschool and summer programming to youth ages 6-18 at 14 Club Sites in eight rural, Missouri communities.

Directly responsible for delivering the highest quality programs for scouting and community groups and overseeing council programs and events for scouts and community youth including residential camps, day camps, special event programs, advancement, and more. Network within the scouting and general community, cultivating, recruiting, training, and inspiring key volunteers. Manage volunteer teams for the planning, training, purchasing, marketing, and execution of programs and events. Develop and grow new initiatives to better serve our youth and their families.Conduct operational planning and management to ensure programs are delivered efficiently and effectively through planning, resource allocation, budget management, and process optimization. Demonstrate excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills, working with volunteers, staff, outside organizations, scouts, and community youth in a professional manner with a sense of urgency, purpose and clarity.
