Longue Vue’s eight acres of gardens – and matching residential interiors – were the masterwork of 20th-century landscape designer Ellen Biddle Shipman and home to civic and philanthropic visionaries Edith and Edgar Stern. Today, Longue Vue is committed to honoring the legacies of Shipman and the Stern family as a space for personal growth, social progress, and communal healing through the beauty of nature. The mission of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art is to broaden the knowledge, understanding, interpretation and appreciation of the visual arts and culture of the American South through its events, permanent collections, changing exhibitions, educational programs, publications and research.

Incorporated in 1987, the museum is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization focusing on children’s development through exhibits and programs designed to support early learning.

Vulcan is the world's largest cast iron statue; made of 100,000 pounds of iron and 56 feet tall, he stands at the top of Red Mountain overlooking the city of Birmingham. But, Vulcan is more than a statue. Vulcan Park and Museum features spectacular views of Birmingham, an interactive history museum that examines Vulcan and Birmingham's story, a premier venue for private events and a beautiful public park for visitors and locals to enjoy. With an official information center that is operated by the Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau, Vulcan Park and Museum serves as the first stop for visitors to the Birmingham area. Vulcan® Park and Museum is operated by Vulcan® Park Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve and promote Vulcan as the symbol for the Birmingham region, to advance knowledge and understanding of Birmingham’s history and culture, and to encourage exploration of the region. The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is a nationally accredited art museum located in historic Ocean Springs on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Since its founding in 1991, WAMA has been a keystone of the state’s cultural life. WAMA is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of artist-philosopher Walter Inglis Anderson (1903-1965). Walter Anderson’s paintings, drawings, murals, block prints, sculpture, carvings, and writings of coastal plants, animals, landscapes, and people have placed him among the most compelling and singular artists of the 20th century. WAMA also honors Anderson's brothers, Peter Anderson (1901-1984), master potter and founder of Shearwater Pottery; and James McConnell Anderson (1907-1998), noted painter and ceramist. WAMA's mission is to empower lifelong curiosity & connection to the natural world through the art of Walter Inglis Anderson and kindred artists.
