In February 1994, CMHP was designated as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. The organization was created with the goals of preserving, improving and increasing the affordable housing stock in Central Minnesota. These goals have been achieved over the years through a variety of innovative programs and services offering affordable housing to low and moderate income households and we continue to strive to achieve the same goals today that were set from the start.
