Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership. is a community based non-profit organization which serves primarily low-income families and senior citizens in a 14-county area of East Central South Dakota. Coordinated week-long trip to Pasadena, Calif., for SDSU's "The Pride of the Dakotas" marching band's 2003 Rose Parade performance. The traveling party of 650-plus included band, staff, administration, alumni and community members. Primary responsibilities included all trip correspondence, marketing, fundraising and event planning. Other duties included writing and editing of press releases, editing of quarterly STATE magazine, web site maintenance, event planning and design and layout of promotional mailings.
