SOUND AND MEDIA SOLUTIONS, INC.
Rochester, Minnesota
1-24 employees
Sound and Media Solutions has a rich history in the commercial sound business. In 1968, Leigh J Johnson started a company called Custom Communications, Inc. (CCi) which offered background music systems. Over the years, this background music company grew into a full service communication solutions provider adding solutions like drive thru intercom systems, nurse call systems, paging systems, full sound systems, digital signage, scent marketing, digital menu boards and more. Shortly after starting the business in 1968, LJ also added security services, essentially creating two divisions; security, under the Custom Alarm name, and commercial sound, referred to as the "Sound and Media Solutions" division. In 2014, the Sound and Media Solutions division spun off from the security business and Sound and Media Solutions, Inc. was born. The SMS team is led by owner, Nikki Johnson, who was with CCi for over 10 years. Six additional associates from CCi complete the SMS team. In total we have over 95 years of experience in the business. Our commitment is to Create a Sound and Media Experience. We deliver sound solutions so you can, create the perfect environment, communicate with clarity and connect with your customers.
